Two G N Divers still at Covenham Res. today. At Saltfleet Haven, a mixed flock of about 300 Twite & Snow Buntings - about 55% Twite. Could be the group that were at Theddlethorpe, unless they are still there? Also a Merlin at Saltfleet - seen attacking the finch/bunting flock. Roy |

Along with the divers there were two green sandpipers, one barn owl, at least one grey wagtail and at least 243 cormorant |

Are the Divers frequenting any particular area of Covenham, not that I mind walking around the reservoir but I may try for them one lunch time and time is a bit limited. |

Thanks for that John. The twite/bunting flock were very nervous today, due to the presence of the Merlin. No sign of Shore Larks. Nick, When we were there the divers favoured the West side - which was good as the sun was in our favour, but as you know, they can cover a large area. I would park at the North end first and take a look from the top of the steps. Roy |

The diver I saw was in the corner by the yacht club Nick. I don't know where the other one was but Russell had seen them both together shortly before I arrived. The other thing that was going on was that workmen were cutting the trees down on the south side of the reservoir. For what reason I haven't a clue |
