1 drake Smew(Present for a few days now apparently),on the Hotel Pit,with 2 drake Goldeneye. 2 female Goosander(West,over Ness Lake). Regards Steve. |

Also observed there today apart from the above: 1 Bittern (over Hotel Pit) 1 Kingfisher c100 Lapwing (over in 3 seperate flocks) 3 Redwing 10 Goldfinch 10 Tree Sparrow 2 Little Grebe 1 GC Grebe 2 Wren 6 Greenfinch 1 Water Rail Also a couple of pinging Bearded Tit - Ness Pit- only heard not seen. Usual Pochard, Tufted, Gadwall, Mallard and Coot Mandy |
