Seawatch 09:00 to 10:45 in light SW wind:- 7 Red-throated Diver 4N, 2S & 1 on sea 1 Cormorant S 36 Pink-footed Geese N 10 Wigeon N 15 Teal N 5 Shoveler S 8 Tufted Duck S 53 Eider 29N & 24S 59 Common Scoter 4N & 55S 10 Goldeneye S 24 Oystercatcher 1N & 23S 27 Lapwing in off 11 Sanderling N 1 Pomarine Skua N With Rick Bennett. |

Hi Andy Quite a few of these are species not yet recorded for that 10km square in the Bird Atlas. I presume you were in TF58, which has only a small bit of land on it anyway! So for any of the birds you saw that were USING the square, it would be really worth submitting these to the Atlas project. So this might not apply to ducks just flying through the square, but anything on the sea is classed as using the square. Similarly, if your Pom was harrassing other seabirds then this counts as using the square, so would be a great record to add.
