After several brief glimpses by John Shaughnessy and others over the last week, the Spotted Crake was seen briefly but well by Tim Bagworth today. The bird is at the back of the roadside pool on the approach road to the Visitor Centre Car Park - best wait and watch from the west side of the road opposite.

Also, reported up to 30 whooper swan through today and up to 3000 golden plover on Croftmarsh.
