A brilliant afternoon there - stayed until darkness fell.

Got 2 texts to say there was a Red Necked Phalarope at Chowder Ness, as I was in Barton Reed Bed I didnt attempt to walk all the way to Chowder, it would have been dark before I got there. Oh to have a car!

Still highlights today:

6 Bearded Tit (4 showing on and off in BRB and 2 near to Reedy Hide on Ness Pit)
1 Marsh Harrier
1 Bittern
2 Sparrowhawk
1 Kestrel
1 Peregrine (great view nr to VC)
2 Water Rail
2 Willow Tit
c30 LT Tit
2 Fieldfare
2 Redwing
4 Great Tit
4 Bullfinch
c200 Coot
c40 Pochard
2 Tufted Duck
1 GS Woodpecker
2 Curlew over
2 Reed Bunting
c40 Goldfinch
6 Chaffinch
2 Great Tit
2 Robin
3 Wren
2 Pheasant

Still an impressive Starling roost in vicinity of Pursuit Pit and one report of SEO hunting the foreshore this morning, I staked out the area for a while this evening but no joy :(

Also one Weasel and a Grey Squirrel
