An all day stint(no pun intended)at this brilliant NNR saw the following birds being seen: 1 Barn Owl en-route to the coast at North Somercotes Saltfleetby/Theddlethorpe 4 Shorelark(Brickyard Lane) 112 Snow Bunting(Brickyard Lane) 137 Twite(Brickyard Lane) and 56(Rimac,including 1 colour-ringed bird,orange over white on the left leg) 145 Carrion Crow 350 Pink-footed Geese(South) and 47(South) 8 Lapland Bunting(Rimac) 1 ad.female Marsh Harrier(South) 47 Teal 40 Wigeon 1 juv. Swallow(South,my latest record for some years) 1 pair Stonechat(Rimac) 1 Little Owl(Churchill Road) 2 Goldcrest Thoresby Bridge 27 Mute Swan 1 adult Whooper Swan 1 Short-eared Owl Regards Steve,with Dave Wright and John Harry |
