7.30 am 16 Whooper Swans flying north over Dowsby Fen 8.15 Very surprised to see a House Martin flying over houses in Wrangle on the drive up to Gib. Gib Point 8.30 -12.00. 1 Peregrine 1 Merlin 2 Kestrels 1 Avocet - Jacksons Marsh 1 Green sandpiper - Tennysons 1 Kingfisher - Fen Lagoon 2+ Twite 1 Rock Pipit 4 Corn Buntings 9 distant swans flying acroos the Wash looked like Bewick's. Kirkby Pits No sign of Ring-necked Duck but 2 drake Goldeneye on private pits to south. Ian (with Sue M, Dave and Sue Thorpe) |
