Location: Swanpool, Lincoln
Cetti's Warbler performing well at the mere this morning, calling frequently, 5 bursts of song heard and seen 5 times, twice in reeds to left of hide, once flying left to right in front of hide and twice in brash to right of hide.

Also this morning:-
11 Grey Partridge
2 Water Rails heard
302 Lesser Black-backed Gulls
2 adult Yellow-legged Gulls
3 Herring Gulls
19 Skylarks
1 Grey Wagtail
1 Linnet
3 female Bullfinches

with Pete Haywood & Russell Hayes in hide.

Pete Haywood rang me to say that the Bittern was again showing this afternoon, perched up in the main reed bed.
