A rowdy rabble of assorted rabid ( plus hare/partridge! ) shooters peppered the stubble field behind our house in Bracebridge Heath on Thursday morning 29th October, but happily there was a surviving covey of 8 Grey Partridges feeding there at midday today (Sunday) along with large numbers of Gull spp, Corvids and Woodpigeons.
