There were 3 Black Redstarts today, a single along the seal fence early morning only, with this bird presumably accounting for one the birds that then turned up at the RAF base and Stonebridge in the afternoon. The third bird was at quad 3. A Long-eared Owl came in-off the sea then gained height and headed off south at quad 2.

There were a few thrushes arriving with 300 Redwing, 140 Blackbirds, 15 Fieldfare and 20 Song Thrush. There were also 3 Woodcock and a female Bullfinch. Vis mig also produced 82 Skylarks and 88 Tree Sparrows heading SE.
