seawatch 0900-0920 Little gull 140 North (nearly all adults) Kittiwake 70 north Gannet 95 north puffin 1 north in addition to various other auks R t diver 7 south Bonxie 5 north Pom 1 juv north Long-tailed skua 1 juv north and landed on sea Arctic skua 2 north arctic tern 2 north sandwich tern north later watches by others involved more bonxies, pom, puffin etc - awaiting details In the duines; willow warbler and lesser whitethroat trapped, chiffchaff 5 plus 1 tristis type with YBW Yellow browed warbler - one found in W Dunes late afternoon with tit flock. Redpolls also a prominent migrant - 40+ ringed today and two common redpoll. Cheers kev |

Single female Long Tailed Duck on the sea off Mill Hill to 3.30 when it flew North. In addition Velvet Scoter also present, before that also flew North. No sign of any Skuas between 3.00 and 3.30. |
