couple of hrs after lunch
a few birds around for a change but not in good numbers
of note several small flocks winter thrushes
good few blackbirds
lots mipits
linnets
goldfinch and greenfinch
lots robins
5 wren
pied fly
barn owl not guttata but right by the sea wall
sprawk

plus 2 great spot woodpeckers yesterday flying up north sea lane humberston probably in offs,

1pm I had a piedfly, 1 GSWoody at Pye's, later on a sparrowhawk whipped through that big flock of finches on the stubble. Increase in pipits today, I reckon there's more goldfinches too but they were a couple of fields inland.

sat 17th had about 3 hrs 10.30 onwards
met the lean mean plastering machine plenty of banter and giggles later joined by several others and the morning continued in the same way much enjoyed by all,
birds not very abundant but
2 GOLDCRESTS WHOOPEE
s/hawk x2 ? could be the same bird twice
kingfisher
finches mixed flocks
150 brents nice to see in numbers
at least 5 swallows south
very quite in general :(
