South of Skegness and north east corner of Gib from 0800 to 1300. Noticeably more vismig involving skylarks, mipits, finches and thrushes. 3 flocks of 20+ passerines (unidentified) seen coming in off during the morning. Highlights were: ï± Robin (50) ï± Blackbird (40) ï± Song Thrush 18 ï± Redwing 10 ï± Stonechat 3 ï± Rook 1 S ï± Commic Tern - 2 heading W with BH gulls ï± Grey Wagtail 3 S ï± Goldcrest 1 ï± Sparrowhawk 3 S ï± Pintail 3 S ï± Peregrine Ad male ï± House martin 7 N, then 10 S later on ï± Green woodpecker 1 ï± A large raptor seen early on from behind, disappearing into low cloud, evaded ID, but was probably a Marsh Harrier or a Common Buzzard ï± Also seen, 4 Red Admiral, 2 Speckled Wood, 2 Painted Lady and 4 Small Copper
