There were a lot of birds around first thing with several large flocks of thrushes arriving in-off the sea in the first two hours after dawn with 500 Redwing, 2 Fieldfare, 35 Song Thrushes, 30 Blackbirds and a single Ring Ouzel.

Other highlights were two Yellow-browed Warblers which both arrived around midday, with one near the RAF station and the other just west of Stonebridge car park. There were also 3 Firecrests, 3 Chiffchaffs, 8 Brambling and 4 Siskin.

In addition to the above there was a single Ring Ouzel at Pye's Hall first thing this morning and a Shorelark flew north over Ponderosa mid morning.
