A little more movement today:

Greylag - many heard but they all seem to be on the reed bed pools, probably due to disturbance on the N scrape from fence building in the adjacent paddock.
Teal 37
Shoveler 7
Dabchick 1
Snipe 5, numbers down probably as a result of vegetation removal on old shingle island - a favourite resting place!
Curlew 2
Lapwing - several large flocks flying around, largest c90 of which 6 peeled off to mob a buzzard
Goldfinch 8
BH Gull - large numbers W
Stock dove 4
White wagtail 5
Water rail 1 (heard)
No hirundines visible

New shingle island completed. (see photo - http://www.lincsbirds.co.uk/album/displ ... um=8&pos=0)

and earlier at Fulbeck:

Lesser Whitethroat 1 (heard)

Regards

David
