Observations 1410 - 1600 hrs from reserve pit(s), which now includes the newly acquired and most of the pit North of reserve - Riverslea:
Highlights: 1 Snipe, 2 Pintail, 2 Common Buzzard, 7 Egyptian Geese, 1 Common Gull.
Others:

1 Kestrel
1 Green Woodpecker
15 Goldfinch
13 Lapwing
22 Black-headed Gull
112 Gadwall
204 Teal
1 Little Grebe
1 Robin
3 Moorhen
2 Reed Bunting
3 Great Crested Grebe
19 Coot
1 Grey Heron
Riverslea portion: 5 Tufted Duck
8 Mallard
103 Greylag Goose
118 Coot
21 Black-headed Gull
4 Wigeon
1 Cormorant
5 Gadwall
3 Jackdaw
2 Moorhen
2 Little Grebe

Called at the Pit S of the reserve to pick through 151 Greylag Geese, also observed:

48 Tufted Duck
7 Pochard
5 Wigeon
2 Great Crested Grebe (1 Juv)
39 Mallard
1 Magpie
