Golden plover 11 & 35
Oystercatcher 3 scared up from the grass by a large jet
Distinct movement of Skylark & Meadow pipit
0850 - 0930 100 W
1000 - 1100 150W
1100-1200 120 W
then tapered off to just a few westwards.
Meadow pipit
0850 - 0930 40 W
1000 - 1100 65 W
1100 - 1200 120 W
then tapered off to small parties hiding in the grass with no visible movement westwards.
Pied wagtail 40 - 70 all day
Wheatear 1Juv. So far the quietest year since 1994 for them, I usually average 5-600 in spring around 8-1000 going south. North about a 120 and South so far about 50.
Grey heron
Sparrowhawk.
