I havn't been down to Marston SW for a while, but I think that Egyption Goose is a really good record for the site - not sure I have ever seen one there? Might even have to twitch that! |

The shingle is planned to be placed in the scrape on Wednesday morning with the help of some volunteers ........more help would always be welcome, as it will have to be shovelled and barrowed in by hand! Although this will create some disturbance in the area of the scrape, it will improve conditions for many years to come. Alan |

I found one on 2/01/97, it was present for a couple of weeks with a group of Bewick's and Whooper Swans (!). I was trying to twitch the Twite found the day before by Trev (he had a 1st/w Med that day too). I seem to remember the excesses of the previous night out in Stamford put paid to a 1st day twitch. Twite, thats a Marston blocker.... |
