Alastair HM migration peaks Late Aug-Sept continuing into Oct and late birds are often seen into Nov so this is well within their normal range. The Birds of Lincs and S Humberside (Lorrand and Atkin) and The Status of Birds in Lincs 1991-95 (Goodall and Atkin) are useful references when pronouncing about birds in this county John |
