at Sandilands from 06:07 to 17:10 with an hours break to fail to see the RBF at Wolla

Red-throated Diver 18 south 11 north
Common Scoter 460 north
Manx Shearwater 161 north one south only 9 gave good views close in the rest distant in flocks up to 15 birds
Sooty Shearwater 4 total all north ( a few skuas shearing south well out appeared to possibly be Poms)
Fulmar 22 all north
Bonxie 8 north
Arctic Skua 5 north
Long-tailed Skua 2 full adults north
Kittiwake 17 early am with a few late afternoon
Leach's Petrel one well out went north mid am and one close in went north at 14:30 (a third bird went north at about 11:30 while I was at Wolla so I was informed)

Overall pleasure factor 3/10 the Leach's was nice odd Manx were seen very well but most birds were distant and in haze and sea spray getting lost for long spells in deep troughs and generally providing poor views for straining eyes; I remembered why I go to Ireland and Flamborough to actually enjoy seabirds
