What a thoroughly enjoyable morning there today 5.15am-1pm( before, during and after predator survey) The last few weeks when I have had time to visit the weather has been dreadful and not much to see - today the reserve was full of life - with the warm sunshine and birdsong it felt like Spring had returned!
1 Spotted Flycatcher - showing really well and observed on and off for an hour - never tire of watching them

12 Chiffchaff - 6 seen together in one bush, 3 very vocal individuals
