On 5th a reasonable movement of terns in the morning with 1100 Commons heading up the Humber. Other than two Marsh Harriers in-off I resorted to counting Shelduck of which there were 286.
Vis mig was a bit better on 6th with 485 Mipits in then south, 55 Goldfinches S and 350 House Martins along with a single Marsh Harrier, an Osprey south at 1030 and Merlin, Peregrine and two Sparrowhawks. Quiet in the bushes with just a single Spot Fly, 2 Chiffchaffs, 7 Willows and 4 Blackcaps. Also 1400 Golden Plover. James
