Hi Being careful not to mention windfarms or pylons Stephen, here are todays highlights from Freiston. Osprey - 1 sitting on the wreck for most of the day. Got up and went fishing when the tide turned this evening. Hobby - 1 adult over the lagoon Merlin - 1 female over the lagoon Marsh Harrier - 1 or 2 males Cheers, PF. |

The said topic on Rainham Steel and the wind farm debate was not deliberately deleted and i apologise to Paul and other members who where interested in reading this thread, but as iam new to administering on the forum and not happy where this subject was situated on the forum,i tried to move it to the Linc's bird chat section and deleted it by mistake.I then informed Colin and Shiela Jennings and told them what i had done,at least i was honest and admitted i had co**ed up.I also sent the person who is at the centre of this trouble a personal message saying i had deleted the post and he was happy that i had pm'd him and his words where it doesn't really matter and that was that and still it carries on.It is funny how it is always the same person involved in all the trouble on the forum as there can't be many people this person hasn't fallen out with,oh to be popular. Steve. |

Chill out Steve - you'll find out that you can please all of the contributors some of the time, some of the contributors all of the time but never please all of the contributors all of the time! The pressure of being an Administrator!! |

Steve. I have found varying levels of birding personalities in the county since restarting birding here. From the ultimate tutors to elite snipers. However, Steve's integrity here is a refreshing change - teamwork and integrity is a normal pattern of life for me but when mistakes occur, it truly takes someone to step up to the plate and say so. OK, lives do not depend on it here, however if I could impart some teamwork ethos through the ranks (whether newbie or not) - why can't everyone get on - the experience is surely worth it and birding would be such a better experience in the County if we were a true collective force? I think the club could be the best in the UK! Anyway thats my freedom of speech bit - no sniping please, the body armour is in for repair! |
