Post subject:  Whisby 12 August

A Red Kite (no wing tags visable) flew very low south over Whisby today at 1.30pm being mobbed by a Common Tern!

Also of interest there has been a very vocal calling Nightingale hanging around the bridge over the Pike Drain. Seen and heard on the 6th and 7th and heard only yesterday7th.

Up to 3 Green and 4 Common Sandpiper have been almost daily over the last week.

Regards

Grahame
