Made my first visit to the reserve today, and was most impressed, except for the long walk to the east hide only to find nothing. !st bird of the day was the Montegue Harrier Last bird was the Pectoral Sandpiper, In between, 41 Snipe 2 Wheatear 4 Ruff 2 Whimbrel 3 Ringed Plover 2 LRP 2 Wood Sandpiper 3 Marsh Harriers Greenshank, Meadow Pipit, Kestrel, Little Egrets, Skylark Lapwing, These being the main sightings, Cheers Mike Surr. P.S. Pratincole not been seen since Sunday |
