At 1730 hrs tonight stopped my bike on my way home from work to see a raptor on a pigeon / collared dove which was on a bed or feathers. Thoughts rang out of Sparrowhawk, until I looked closer - a Kestrel. Car fatality and oppourtunisitic or caught itself?? Later during a jog around Coningsby - Black Holt - Gibbet Nook - Coningsby: 7 Yellowhammers 1 Yellow Wagtail juv Swallows lining up on wires |
