Marton
Red kite seen from kitchen window drifting low NW at 18.20. Shortly picked up about 10 minutes later by Dean Nicholson in same area who noticed a red or orange tag on left wing which means it's either from the central scotland release scheme or the Yorkshire scheme. My money is on Yorkshire!

My first for the local area and now on my garden list!
Cheers

August 1st
To follow-on from the red kite yesterday, a peregrine went over the garden this morning heading east at 07.50, scattering every bird in sight.
Cheers
