Good numbers of waders on the high tide this evening eg 800 sanderling, 3500 knot - watched from Mill Hill where sand martin and swift were moving south at the rate of c400 per hour. A juv wood sand on the Mere in front of the hide with green and common for comparison and 32 pied wag assembling to roost there. Cheers Kev |
