Pre-work session between 0430 and 0620, highlights were:

2 Little Ringed Plovers have had 2 young!!!
3 Green Sandpipers*
1 Common Sandpiper*
1 Dunlin
1 Avocet with 3 juv
1 Oystercatcher
3 Blackbird
1 Oystercatcher
160 Greylag Geese
51 Black-headed Gull
1 Lesser Black-backed Gull
1 Shelduck with 4 juv
57 Coot
1 Turtle Dove (still!)
8 Common Tern with 37 yg/juv
7 Mute Swan
2 Long-tailed Tit
1 Little Grebe
2 Cormorant
3 Lapwing
2 Reed Warbler
1 Blackcap
1 Great Tit
2 Green Woodpecker
1 Song Thrush
1 Wren
78 Mallard
24 Tufted Duck
1 Pochard with 3 yg
1 Great Crested Grebe

On my way to the gravel pit, 2 Barn Owls before bridge on Wharf Lane, Coningsby - one might be a juv, but it was still dark and passing at 30mph it was difficult!

Discovered post initial posting one of the Green Sands was actually a Common - sorry!
