After a trip to Pembrokeshire, itching to get back to see what I have missed over 4 days! So from 1645 to 1720 hrs the following were noted.
Highlights - 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 2 juv Ringed Plovers, 1 Avocet with 3 yg, 1 Green Sandpiper.
Other counts were:
3 ad Common Tern with 5 yg and 20 juvs
4 Oystercatchers
33 Lapwing
1 Green Woodpecker
50 Mallard with one grp having 5 yg and another with 4 yg
35 Coot with 2 yg
1 Moorhen
1 Reed Warbler
1 Chiffchaff
3 Mute Swan
3 Black-headed Gulls
25 Tufted Ducks
4 juv Shelduck
19 Cormorant
1 Great Crested Grebe
Pit North of reserve:
6 Greylag Geese
67 Coot
2 Little Grebes
