Post subject:  Flying b-ant-quet....16 July

c30 blackheaded gulls over our house in Holbeach from about 5 p.m. til 6.30 yesterday, with 30 swifts high above them, snapping up flying ants. Two nests of ants on our gravel were emptying, and it must have been the same all over the estate. Also had a sparrowhawk briefly, until seen off by swifts and starlings. Who needs Eastenders.....!
