A very wet miserable morning there 5am-9am birding then 9am-1pm predator surveying.

Species noted:

1 Marsh Harrier
1 Bittern
1 Sparrowhawk
2 GC Grebe + 2 young
5 Mute Swan + 6 young
4 Common Tern
2 Turtle Dove (showing well)
3 Whitethroat
6 Reed Warbler
2 Reed Bunting
1 Bullfinch (f)
2 Grey Heron (flying together)
2 Curlew over
10 Goldfinch
Lots Blue, Great and LT Tit
2 Greenfinch
5 Wren
8 Pochard
A few Swifts over and usual water birds.
1 Willow Warbler
1 Willow Tit
