1345 to 1500 on outer beach c 2 km north of churchill lane car park. c240 scoter, total 22 sandwhich tern south, 2 gannet south and 7 whimbrel south. also seen in the warm sunshine with southerly breeze, 9 whites, 7 red admirals, 3 painted ladies and 3 small tortoiseshells, and 4 large bumble bees all coming in low over sea and making westwards.
