A shock tonight when a next door neighbour brought what he thought was a Kestrel with a broken wing that he rescued on the main A153 through village. It was a juv Hobby! I blogged the story. Dusk into night at Ostler's - heard only Nightjar, Tawny Owl, Little Owl and Woodcock - even with night vision! |

Heard from RSPCA officer tonight the hobby as a clean break on the damaged wing and will be having 3 weeks rest before another x-ray! Hope for it yet I think. |
