Post subject:  Coningsby area 10 Jun 09
During a 7 mile jog around Coningsby lunchtime, noted the following:

3 Goldfinch
1 Great Spotted Woodpecker
2 Pheasant
2 Grey Partridge (no young observed yet)
1 Yellow Wagtail (still observable from footpath - I have high hopes here!)
1 Yellowhammer
1 Kestrel
5 Swallow

Tonight at 1900 hrs saw 30 Swift cruising high from SW to NE over airfield in one group. They seem to have had a purpose only 1 or 2 taking a small divert to pick off some food.
