One in a garden at Walesby this morning and a pair are breeding in a nest box at Nettleton. |

A bit of good news. This morning visited a house near Wragby with a large Orchard - two Spotted Flycatcher nests with eggs within 50 metres of each other - both pairs seen. I haven't come across such close territories in this species before. |

While visiting the Doddington Farm Shop and Cafe gardens with our better halves this afternoon (Thu), Richard Gunn and I were pleased to watch a very active Spotted Flycatcher. An unexpected bonus to a pleasant outing. Also Blackcap in song. Regards, Freddy |
