Early morning visit between 0405 and 0605 saw nothing unusual from the current normal status. Common Tern roost totalled 59 this morning. Other highlights were:
Oystercatcher still has 3 young
Little Ringed Plover
2 drk and 1 f Ruddy Duck
Pr of Teal
Pr of Wigeon
Lesser Whitethroat still near bridleway entrance

Barn owl from footpath SW of landfill site.

During a bike ride this evening, had close views of a Common Buzzard on a field fence post viewable from Withern Lane, just around the right hand corner where you can turn off for Hunters Lane. Suspect the many baby rabbits running around the field as a tempting snack!
