Post subject:  Cuckoo - Wood Enderby

Of notice to the contrary, cuckoos seem to be more elusive, but wider in number. i heard atleast two at Wood Enderby.

Other sightings was a Great-spotted Woodpecker complete with nest and young.

Alastair - I concur - bad views, heard lots.

2 Great Spotted Woodpeckers discovered recently myself - 1 tonight on a bike ride as I rode past it!

Have not heard a Cuckoo in the Wragby area this year. First time that this has happened in my memory.
Have heard them in the Welton area.
