A TTV by the tidal section of the River Welland upstream from Fosdyke on Wednesday afternoon gave some nice surprises: 2 pairs of Grey Partridge, 1 male Blue-headed Wagtail and a summering Short-eared Owl. Will be attempting 4 more TTVs over the week-end in the unpromising environs of Gosberton, Donington and Swineshead. Regards Hugh Dorrington |
