When you reach Alkborough on the road from West Halton, Go right, into Front Street and follow it, soon bearing left to reach the church ahead of you. Bear right here (Whitton Road) keeping church to your left and look in a short distance for a lane forking off left. Take this for a few yards, then with buildings ahead go left, down a rough lane/track. This descends steeply and at the bottom you come to a parking area on the left. From here, walk to the to of the bank. A path runs right, along the top, but follow the path straight ahead and the hide is on the right. Cheers Geoff |
