Between 2 pm and 3 pm maximum of 7 Black Terns and 8 "Comic" terns. When the clouds lifted the large number of Swifts and hirundines disappeared making counting the Terns much easier.
Stuart Britton (and Rick Bennett who was already there).

Prior to Stuart's arrival there had been at least 13 commic terns, some if not all being arctic.
Also 5 common sand, plus 2 ringed plover and 8 dunlin which flew over.
2 yellow wags and 6 tree sparrow by the entrance and numerous yellowhammers in the nearby lanes.
Cheers. Rick
