Hi

Today on the reedbed:

Black Tern - 8
Little Stint - 1
Curlew Sandpiper - 1
Wood Sandpiper - 1
Sanderling - 4
Egyptian Goose - 2
Garganey - 1 drake
Little Ringed Plover - 2 (scrape)
Plus many Swifts and hirundines this evening.

(Note - 17 species of wader on the reedbed today. Not a bad start...!)

No sign of the Temminck's today, and it was only reported briefly yesterday.

PF.

How long do Black Terns hang around?

Not long usually, but there is currently a decent passage going on throughout eastern England, and with the current weather conditions there are probably more to come. Any bit of water is worth a look, but Frampton is obviously the nearest "best" site to you.
