After my fill of the Diver on the Witham I headed over to Kirkby Pits where the Ring necked Duck was still present at the north end of the Riverslea Pit. A female Scaup was also present. Time was against me so I didn't look for the Glaucous Gull.
A quick stop at Woodhall Spa airfield on the way home produced the Great White Egret giving good views on one of the pits but it then soon took flight and headed off south, presumably back to Kirkby.
Not a bad mornings birding.
