Sadly, neither of them were the Great White Egret, which seems to have disappeared.
Year Tick 83 - Mediterranean Gull. Two on island closest to the Reedbed Hide. Year Tick 84 - Stock Dove. Pair feeding on edges of wader scrape seen from 360 Hide.
Outside that, the usual birds present. The Black-headed Gull choir is now shrieking in good voice. A Firecrest was reported in the bushes on the walk out to Witham Mouth. Both Little and Great Crested Grebe seen. Usual waders were there, also Wigeon, Teal, Mallard, Gadwall, Shelduck, Tufted......
A large flock of Brent Geese flew in circa 15:45, and within them was one Black Brant. 99% sure it was.
