Continuing very quiet on the dunes at the south end with more of interest out at sea. The only birds of note on the landward side yesterday, 18th, were 2 Siskins, Willow Warbler and Hobby. 4 Gannets flew north, otherwise other all sea passage was to the south, hence 33 Gannets, 6 Cormorants, 9 Sandwich Terns, Guillemot, Arctic Skua and Great Skua. A Peregrine was on the shore and two skeins of Pinkfeet totalling ca.130 headed south.
Today, 19th, moving north over the dunes were 110 Swallows, 5 House Martins and 2 Yellow Wagtails. 94 Pinkfeet in 3 skeins flew south. 2 Willow Warblers and a Goldcrest were noted. At sea, moving north were 62 Gannets, 4 Cormorants, 4 Sandwich Terns and 5 Mallard. To the south were 108 Gannets, 7 Cormorants, 6 Wigeon, 10 Sandwich Terns and a Great Skua.
