A day trip to take the family to the coast for what was probably the last hot and sunny weekend day of the year......
A glorious day, bins were to hand although distractions from birding were plenty. The following noted however:
Crook Bank, Theddlethorpe
Arctic Skua - 1 pale phase showing well harassing the terns
Sandwich Tern - 9
Guillemot - 1 slowly paddling past close inshore
Sanderling - 2 juv showing v.well
Grey Seal - 1 bull loitering just offshore for some time
Sutton-on-Sea
Arctic Skua - 1 harassing the terns
Sandwich Tern - 12
Ringed Plover - 1 on beach
Sanderling - 3 on beach
Swallow - 2
House Martin - 3
