Interesting to see the report, on Bird Guides, of a Baltic Gull at Whisby today. John Shaugnessy was only telling me yesterday that he had one at Gib Pt a couple of days ago - seen on a couple of days. He is 100% positive saying that it was as close as it is possible to get to what is generally reckoned to be a Baltic Gull. And for those who know John that means it was one.The description he gave me was perfect. Also one reported on a Scilly pelagic today so worth keeping one's eyes open.
