I was at McDonalds,Outer Circle Road, Lincoln from 0825 - 0910 this morning (Friday) and the lone Waxwing was on view during the whole of my visit.

I parked facing McDonalds in the main Car Park and, on my arrival, immediately picked out the Waxwing at the top of the lefthand Rowan in the row of five.
The bird was extremely tolerant of the constant stream of McDonalds' traffic and pedestrians only c 20 feet below its perch at the top of the Rowan. It was spooked however by 2 Mistle Thrushes a couple of times and the second time (0855) it flew to the top of a Silver Birch to the right rear of McDonalds.
4 Redwings flew in for a brief visit and 5/6 Blackbirds were also feeding in the Rowans. The Waxwing was still in the Silver Birch when I left at 0910.
I was very pleased to get my first sighting of Waxwing this winter. Thanks to Dean for the info.
