An email from Andy Lakin

Location Information: Alkborough scrape looking from the direction of the hide.

A possible American Golden Plover briefly c1.15 today 4/11. Only seen head once but showed obvious whitish supercilia and was much greyer on chest area than accompanying Golden Plover. As I moved to get a side on view of the bird the flock of c1000 birds took off and I didn't manage to see the bird in flight. There were a few thousand Golden Plover around the reserve and they were very flighty and were well dispersed. The bird in question was not seen again before dusk.
