121011, small groups of chaffinch,goldfinch,siskin, and c 350 redwing, 50 fieldfare, 30 blackbird, 20 song thrush all arriving between 1600 hrs and 1700 hrs in the churchill lane area, on the easterly f2 to 3, dropping out of a leaden sky. regards John.

I had a flock of 35 fieldfare pass west over my mouse in Barton at 1715 yesterday too.

150+ Fieldfare just flew into the Willow and Hawthorn on the back field near my house in Hibaldstow

Dinner Time MSQ - 200+ Fieldfare with some Redwing

131011, 0730 to 0840 hrs Churchill lane to Brickyard lane area
c150 chaffinch 50 goldfinch, 5 brambling, 5 bullfinch, 15 to 20 goldcrest,
c 120 mixed thrushes, 4 grt spot woodpeckers, 3 chiffchaffs, 1 blackcap, 1 lesserthroat,
76 pink foot over se, so an obvious small to moderate fall. regards John.

131011 1300 to 1500 Northcotes foreshore with Cliff Morrison doing low water count,
2 s e owl in off sea and at least 2 more along foredunes, also 10 rock pipits,
163 DB brent and 2 PB brent.
and c 2000 golden plover over Somercotes haven. regards John

48 Fieldfare (my first of the year) flying west over Dunston at 0810 13/10. 9 Redwing (another first) at the same location at 1600.
